We celebrated Mikayla's 1st Christmas by visiting both Massachusetts and North Carolina and being royally spoiled at both locations. Keeping with my promise, I'll be heavy on pics and light on commentary.
We woke up to 18 inches of snow in Mass! Go Hubby! (Annie and I had to take care of Mikayla!)

Auntie introduces lil' m to a new friend.

Play time with Auntie.

Grandpa Bill helping the little one get ready for bed. Those don't look like tired eyes!

Mmmm, second cousins are tasty!

Mikayla getting snuggles from Great Aunt Joyce.

Great Aunt Cynthia giving the little one snuggles.

Staring contest!

Uncle Eddie coaches Mikayla through the gift opening process.
We had so much fun seeing everyone in Mass! In a few years Mikayla will be able to enjoy the white stuff a little. So, early Wednesday, 2am :(, we packed up and headed south to visit Grammy and Grandpa Peter.
I don't think playtime every ended for Grammy and Mikayla!

Is Santa a Pat's fan?
Mikayla was up at 6am and ready for presents!
No signs of slowing down.

Nothing like new duds to wear and new toys to play with!

Our hardworking Christmas cooks. I tried to explain that you shouldn't fry a turkey inside, but Peter insisted those rules don't apply down south! It was pouring rain outside. Everything came out delish and the garage is still standing.

Peter introduced us to an English Christmas tradition, "crackers". You pull open a container with a partner. The container pops like a little firecracker and you get a toy and a little hat. We liked the hats the best!

After a week away, we are back in Vegas and getting back into the swing of things. We had a great time seeing everyone!

Looks like a great time. And Christmas crackers are the BEST! Crowns all around! :)
We had a wonderful time having all of you here with us. The time just flew too fast!! Grammy is having Mikayla withdrawals. It was a magical Christmas.

Mikayla got to meet her long lost brother, Rugger! Thanks for all the pictures! They are so great! I especially love that the little one is wearing a different holiday outfit in every picture!
Wonderful pics! Mikayla was so very obviously loving all the attention from her great big family!
And I see that Will still remembers how to shovel snow- guess it's like riding a bike?
So glad the trip was so much fun for everyone!
