Cincy Thanksgiving

Looks like I get the be the first to blog about Thanksgiving in Cincinnati! I'll let Mom and Don do the pontificating and just provide a few pics of our travels. Mikayla had a great time. How could she not, there was rarely an occasion when there weren't multiple friends and family around, eager to make her smile!

"Is this turkey dinner Mommy?"

Mikayla may be the new kid on the block, but Anthony gets chocolate cake! I think Mikayla will happily trade her baby status for cake in a few months!

Mmmm, 9 across, another word for happy baby, I'll go with Mikayla.

The fun never ends!

An Aunt and a cousin, what a great combination!

With all the balloons and youngsters I thought I was at a birthday party! Huge hit!

Yeah, more love from an Auntie.

A few of us who wanted to make room for extra dessert before the big race.

Once back in Las Vegas we celebrated Mikayla's six months with her first bit of rice cereal!

I have to apologize to my in-laws for not getting any pics of their visit (they were nice enough to drive from Kentucky for a few hours on Thanksgiving to see the wee one), I guess I was delirious from the race. But I promise to make up for it over Christmas!

I'll also mention that I didn't put up any pics of Grama and Mikayla since they have their own blog entry.

We had a great time seeing everyone in Cincy and of course the food was great!

Congrats on the first TGB. Too many pictures and too much stuff to organize. We may not get it written until 2010. I'll look forward to when Mikayla can help me with the NYTimes crosswords, maybe next summer.

I had such a fantastic time! Mikayla indeed was a highlight of everyone's experience. What beautiful smile- what beautiful eyes- And how she does like to "visit" with all her family.
Grama Max
PS- From the looks of that hand Mikayla likes to "help" with the rice cereal:)
