Week Three +

Hubby handed the blogging back to me and I'm a bit behind, now that my Mom is here I have a little bit more time. As I type Grandma is feeding Mikayla, who I think is on a little growth spurt and eating every 1.5-2.0 hours. She'll be full grown in a month at this rate.

I have to say that no longer being pregnant is wonderful! I didn't have a difficult pregnancy (not to mention is was three weeks shorter than planned), but it is so nice to be able to touch my toes and not feel as though I have to constantly go to the bathroom. I no longer have to sit on the floor to get my shoes on, I can just bend right over and tie them, wonderful!

Mikayla's getting a little more alert everyday. She refuses to sleep in her crib during the day, but fortunately she will sleep in her bouncy seat and swing, thank goodness. She can track moving objects with her eyes and she smiles a bit, but hasn't had the big toothless intentional smile, but I'm sure it will be here soon.

Below are a few updated pics of Mikayla, I used a piece of fruit for size comparison in one, enjoy....

Such a pretty girl. And congrats to you for being able to not only see your feet, but tie your own shoes as well. Hooray for Mommy!!! :)

She is growing so fast! I completely agree with you on the not being pregnant thing. It is an amazing adventure, but when it's over..... you truly appreciate all you can do when you are not pregnant! Like run a 10K with your family! See you at the turkey trot!:)
