Despite the fact that Mikayla had their undivided attention for the weekend, Hubby and I did get a little time with them, primarily because Mikayla goes to be a little bit before us.

Even Brumbee got in on some of the kitchen fun. I hope Mikayla is a better cook than the look on Brumbee's face indicates! Grama seems pleased with her tea, so at least Mikayla is boiling water like an expert!

Grama and Granpa kept Mikayla so busy that she actually napped during the weekend. Of course Grama cheated by rocking her for over 2 hours, but at least she got her nap and Grama got her snuggle time.
The weather was a little cold for us to go to the beach and look for fishes so we settle for the aquarium in the Bass Pro Shop. Granpa's trying to convince Mikayla she could catch this fish if she offered him some of her raisins, and Mikayla's not buying a word of Granpa's story!

We had a great weekend with Grama and Granpa and are looking forward to more visits now that we live on the same side of the country!
